Our mission is to transform post-adoption support in Scotland by advocating for policy changes at both national and local levels and fostering a strong, supportive community for adopters. We aim to influence government policy by promoting a National Adoption Practice Model, and by ensuring transparent reporting on adoption breakdowns through effective lobbying and collaboration with key agencies and professionals. At the local level, we strive to shift social work practices and attitudes to better support adoptive families.
Through our platform, we provide guidance, resources, and a voice for Scottish adopters, helping them navigate legal processes, connect with support networks, and advocate for their rights. Our ultimate goal is to create a more informed, supportive, and connected adoption community in Scotland.
